Brick Buildings
Brick clad or composite garages, sheds and garden rooms, built for around half a typical builder's quote — the premium alternative to our concrete range.

Nucrete brick buildings are permanent garden buildings — garages, sheds and garden rooms — clad in brick or maintenance-free composite and built by specialist teams for around half a typical builder's quote. Every building is a steel-framed structure with fully insulated walls and roof, a level of comfort a traditionally built garden structure rarely has. They sit alongside our concrete range as the premium option: the same one-company service we've offered from Bradford for more than 45 years, with the look and lifespan of brick.
What brick buildings does Nucrete offer?
Nucrete offers three brick building types: brick garages, brick sheds and brick garden rooms. Each is designed as a garden outbuilding, so in most cases it can be built without planning permission under permitted development — and each costs far less than a traditionally built equivalent.
- Brick garages — fully insulated brick garages with an insulated sectional door, typically 50–66% less than a builder's quote.
- Brick sheds — brick-clad garden sheds installed in less than a day once the base is down.
- Brick garden rooms — home offices, gyms and garden bars, brick-clad or composite, around 50% less than a builder's quote.
Concrete or brick — which is better?
For most people, concrete is the practical choice and brick is the premium one. A Nucrete concrete garage costs a fraction of the price of a brick building, is made in our own Bradford factory, and most standard garages are installed in around a day — with a 10-year structural guarantee as standard. A brick building costs more and takes longer, but it's built to your exact size, blends in with your house, adds more value to your property, and comes fully insulated with low-maintenance uPVC doors and fascias, so it's warm and usable all year round.
If you want secure, affordable space quickly, choose concrete. If the building will be on show — or it's a garden room or workshop you'll spend real time in — brick is worth the extra.

Where do I get brick building prices and designs?
Our brick buildings have their own dedicated website — Nucrete Prestige — with photos, price lists and a bespoke design service. Start there for a quote or a plan; you'll be dealing with the same people either way. Or call us free on 0800 849 9036 and we'll tell you straight whether brick or concrete is the better fit for your garden.
Every brick building sits on a level concrete base, which forms the floor and the foundation in one. We can lay the base as part of the job if you don't already have one.
Brick building questions, answered
Do brick buildings need planning permission?
In most cases, no. Nucrete brick buildings are designed as garden outbuildings, so they normally fall under permitted development — the same rules as our concrete garages. Listed buildings, conservation areas and homes with permitted development rights removed are the usual exceptions, so check with your local planning authority if any of those apply.
Are brick buildings more expensive than concrete garages?
Yes — brick is the premium option. A brick garage typically costs several times the price of an equivalent concrete garage, although still 50–66% less than a traditional builder would charge for the same structure. If budget is the priority, our concrete range gives you the same secure space for far less.
Who actually builds Nucrete's brick buildings?
The specialist teams behind our Prestige brick range. Brickwork is built at your property, while roof systems are prefabricated offsite to keep build times and costs down — and everything is arranged through Nucrete, so you have one point of contact from quote to completion.
Do I need a base for a brick building?
Yes — every brick building needs a level concrete base, which forms the floor and the foundation in one. Nucrete can lay the base for you as part of the project if you don't already have one.
How are the buildings constructed?
Each one is a steel-framed structure with fully insulated walls and roof, clad in brick or maintenance-free composite, with low-maintenance uPVC doors and fascias. Everything is prefabricated in the factory to keep build times and costs down. You get everything people want from a brick building, plus insulation a traditional single-skin structure rarely has.
