Is a concrete shed better than a timber shed?
For longevity, yes. Concrete panels don't rot, warp or need annual treatment, and there's no felt roof to replace — a concrete shed carries our 10-year structural guarantee and routinely outlasts several timber sheds.
Can I choose where the door and windows go?
Yes — that's one of the big advantages of a sectional building. Doors and windows can be positioned virtually anywhere on the shed, so the layout fits your garden and how you'll use the space.
What door comes as standard?
A timber 2'6" personnel door. If you want vehicle or wide access instead, our garage-style up & over doors and other door options can be fitted — ask when you enquire.
Apex or pent roof — which should I choose?
Apex (pitched) suits a traditional look and sheds water symmetrically; pent (single slope) has a lower profile that's handy near boundaries. Apex sheds come with Profile-5 cement fibre roof sheets, pent sheds with Ultra-steel sheets.
Do I need planning permission for a concrete shed?
Usually not — garden buildings under 30m² and 2.5m high normally fall under permitted development rights. Listed buildings and conservation areas are the usual exceptions, and we'll advise before you order.
Can a concrete shed be used as a workshop or for a business?
Yes — hobbyists, motorcyclists and small business owners are among our most regular shed customers. Any size or specification can be built, and extra-height versions add headroom for racking and machinery.
How much does a concrete shed cost?
Every price includes VAT, delivery and installation, and rises with size and specification.
